ESCO Group is a growing and entrepreneurial business that designs and builds machinery for the polyurethane industry. ESCO offers a broad range of foam fabrication machinery, cutting lines, engineered systems, PU meter, mix and dispensing machinery; specializing in low pressure dynamic mixing technology, filled systems, hydrophilic PU systems, as well as hot cast elastomer processing.

The Machine Builder / Assembler role is a full-time position based out of the Grand Rapids, Michigan location focused on building and assembling industrial machinery. The Machine Builder / Assembler will have the following primary responsibilities while also recognizing the need to remain flexible and work independently with various individuals throughout the organization.

Machine Builder / Assembler - Job Description

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a machine building environment. Must have own hand tools and be able to read and interpret blueprints. 15-18 per hour. First shift position. Requirements of the position

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a machine building environment
Must have own hand tools
Able to read and interpret blueprints
Good work ethic and excellent attendance
Must have the ability to lift, lower, push, pull, and carry objects up to 50 lbs
Ability to climb up/down a ladder or stairs
Ability to stand/sit/walk for long periods of time, twist, bend at the knees, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, and reach for purposes of building and assembling equipment
Ability to work in hot and cold temperature extremes in typical warehouse or industrial environments
Ability to give and discern the various visual and audible alarms and signals for equipment startup, evacuation, and fires
Experience in the foam/polyurethane manufacturing industry a plus

Compensation Package
