ESCO Advanced Profile Management (APM) Software

ESCO APM software solution, comprised of ESCO Draw and ESCO View, offers the ability to create shapes, optimize nesting and manage the entire cutting and production operation. With ESCO Draw, the shape designer defines the shapes to be cut and creates the nested layouts. With ESCO View, the machine operator is able to monitor cut progression in real time with live diagnostics providing an integrated solution.

APM Software Details

1. Create shapes to be cut:
   • Enter via mouse or digitizer directly into ESCO Draw
   • True import of most CAD dxf files
   • Trace bitmaps or jpegs from scanned images or digital photos
     
     
2. Choose the shape or shapes to be cut in each job. Select the number required of each shape and assign priorities to ensure the most important shapes are cut first.
   
   
3. ESCO APM calculates all blade untwists and identifies common cut lines, allowing further optimization and reducing overall cut time.
   
   
4. On-screen digital video monitoring (optional) and “electronic-eye” automatic block detection ensure accurate positioning of the block prior to cutting.
   
   
5. ESCO View Operator Interface allows the user to view progress of the cutting operation in real time locally at the control station or remotely via the company network.
   
   
6. ESCO View Operator Interface allows monitoring of the machine operation through on-screen animated schematics and diagnostic displays.
   
   
7. Production reporting – shows the number of shapes to be cut and time to cut total job, allowing production management to plan for maximum machine utilization.
   
   
8. Cost reporting – production management can enter material and labor costs to generate accurate cost-per-part and cost-per-job reports.
