Horizontal ProfileMatic III
The horizontal ProfileMatic III is a servo-driven two-dimensional profile saw. The unit utilizes a traveling abrasive
cutting wire which can cut intricate profiles in urethane foams both flexible and rigid as well as most grades
of Ethafoam, mineral wool, Styrofoam and similar materials. The servo-drives provide extremely accurate control
of the profile.
The standard control package includes an operator interface terminal which communicates with a two-axis servo-control
board. The profile is developed on your PC, utilizing CAD software and is then downloaded through the OIT utilizing
ESCO conversion software which converts your DXF file into machine language. The PC can then be disconnected. The
servo-control board can store several profiles, however, to have complete freedom, the optional PC should be considered.
The optional computer system with the drawing package allows the user to create the profiles at the machine. These
profiles are then stored on the hard drive and can be called up as required to be placed into a desired cutting
sequence.
