A-5 Basic Series Metering and Dispensing


Esco A-5 basic series machines are offered when a simple, dynamic metering and dispensing solution is required. The A-5 series features a mixing head control station mounted at the mixing head that is within reach of the operator. It is an affordable yet effective means for dynamic mixing of two component polyurethanes.

Machine Throughput:


  • 1-5 pounds per minute
  • Based on a material nominal ratio of 1:1 (Isocyanate:polyol)
  • Ratios are variable within individual metered stream output capacities

Mixing Head:


  • ESCO series M200-2PE 2 component dynamic mixing head
  • Vertical mount
  • 3-way ball valves for material injection and recirculation
  • Diaphragm style solvent injector valve

Solvent Flush System


  • 5 gallon stainless steel tank
  • 110 PSI pressure rating
  • Nylon core supply hose to mixing head
  • Solvent media to be ester based (DBE or similar)
  • Automatic operation

Isocyanate System

Metering System:


  • .5 - 2.5 pounds per minute based on a specific gravity of 1.2
  • 2500 cps at 75°F operating temperature
  • Positive displacement precision gear pump
  • Variable speed motor
  • Mild steel construction

Tank system:


  • 10 gallon working capacity, mild steel, non-code construction
  • Rated for 15 PSI
  • Nitrogen (dry air) blanketing system with regulator and relief valves
  • Drain and shut off valves
  • Sight tube for level indication

System Accessories:


  • Nylon core hoses

  • Basket style strainer on pump inlet

Polyol System

  • 10 gallon working capacity, mild steel, non-code construction
  • Rated for 15 PSI
  • Fixed speed electric agitator
  • Nitrogen (dry air) blanketing system with regulator and relief valve
  • Drain and shut-off valves
  • Sight tube for level indication
